Fairy tales

"Ang ibong Adarna" is a fairy tale based on a myth that originated in the Philippines. The title translates to "The Legendary Bird of Piedra Platas. It is about a magical bird that has healing powers to any types of diseases. Though the bird have several great powers, it is very difficult to catch. It's humming songs can weaken it's pursuers and puts them to a deep sleep. Its feces can also turn them to stone. The main character is named "Prinsipe Abante" or Prince Abante. Him and his brothers set out to a journey to find the bird and bring it home to cure their father "the King" from his illness.
